The Vets was formed in 2020 by a group of individuals- Daniel Sagis, Dori Fussmann and Shmuel Chafets, who recognised the stress of being on call 24 hours a day as a veterinarian while also striving to preserve a good quality of life. The Vets, a dedicated out-of-hours emergency and critical care service for pets was their solution. The following year, this group was instrumental in changing the way emergency veterinary treatment was delivered outside of typical business hours. They collaborated with local veterinary practices to provide an after-hours service for vets and their clients.
A team of full-time veterinarians, vet nurses, and support staff are at the centre of it all, working exclusively at night, on weekends, and on public holidays. It’s much more than a brand- it’s a family. Many various elements make The Vets, reflect who they are, what they stand for, what they do, and how they do it.
